Feeling The Difference
We often feel different doing the same things others do. Freeze a thousand snowflakes and they will crystalize in different ways. Take ten people who are overweight and change their diet or exercise to the exact same lifestyle regimen and you will probably get ten different outcomes on the scale. Our uniqueness is expressed through all of the ways we challenge it. Chiropractic follows the same laws of nature.
People are often motivated to begin Chiropractic care because they have a particular concern, but what determines the care they actually need is the spinal subluxations that are specifically found when the Chiropractor examines them. Many conditions and symptoms reduce or go away completely with consistent care, but everyone benefits from an increase in their life potential. Every. Single. Time.
When someone has spinal subluxations, there is always significant dysfunction of the nervous system. When that interference is removed with specific Chiropractic adjustments, the function of the nervous system is always significantly improved. Always. The difference comes from our individual experience of this guaranteed result to everyone, every time they get adjusted.
Let’s take a look at some of the other dynamics with Chiropractic care:
When someone feels better within the first few days of care, there is always significant dysfunction of the nervous system because spinal subluxations always cause dysfunction, no matter how we feel. If someone feels better relatively soon, there is probably less inflammation from the immune system to cause swelling and pain. This can also indicate that there may be less tissue damage to the area of pain.
When someone feels better within the first few weeks of care, this can indicate that the dysfunction of the nervous system is more involved. Specifically, it can indicate that there is probably more inflammation from the immune system, where swelling and pain can be more pronounced. It also makes sense that there is most likely more tissue damage to the area of pain, prolonging the time required to feel better.
When someone feels better within the first few months of care, this indicates even more dysfunction of the nervous system from the momentum of the chronic subluxation. Inflammation from the immune system has been an ongoing reinforcement of the body in a long-term state of survival. At this state, tissue damage to the area of pain has had a lot of time to gain momentum in a deteriorated condition.
What if someone doesn’t feel better with Chiropractic? One possibility is it could take years before they feel better. It takes that long for most of the cells in the body to turn over and be replaced by a better version that was created without interference. Another possibility is that sometimes limitations of the body can be great enough from the damaged tissue causing pain or a condition that full recovery may not be possible, including any pain relief that could come from it.
There are a number of essentials required for optimal health. You might need other things in addition to Chiropractic care, but you will never need anything instead of it. There are also other causes of different conditions in the body no matter what condition it was in before someone begins Chiropractic care. However, they are always better off being clear of spinal subluxations, allowing their body to have its best foot forward as they express their potential to its fullest.
