I am excited to continue this source of information and expand it into regular articles that speak to the heart of chiropractic, life, health and most importantly, you and those you love.
If it hasn’t yet hit you over the head, our world is in crisis; Your world, my world, and our children’s world, too. We have become a society where the head is chasing the tail and we think that somehow running faster, chasing the same tail is somehow the solution. We need to get off this crazy train. We need to step back before we continue further in the wrong direction. We need to get some perspective, get a bigger picture and start getting a better understanding of our problems before we continue trying to solve them in a clearly failed paradigm. It’s time to start new and fresh. No presumptions. It’s time to be open and honest in the assessment of our selves and our ideas: Where we are and how we got here. It is said that in order to know where we are going, we have to know where we come from, and I don’t believe our society knows either one. That can change and get better if we let it, if we allow ourselves to see things differently.
One of the things I say at Creation Chiropractic (CC) is that we are different because we ask “why”. It’s a simple, powerful question and probably the most important. It’s the only way to find our way from the effects in our lives to their causes; from symptoms and conditions, to how they actually got there. After all, is the oil light the problem or simply the effect of a cause somewhere else? And we don’t stop there, because we can’t. If we just stop at the first cause of an effect, we just end up in the middle, not the true “cause of the cause”, as I like to say. For example, if you ever want to stump your medical doctor, you don’t have to know a thing about medicine or even biology. All you have to do is take the statement or observation or diagnosis they just gave you, and send it back to them with a “why” in front of it. Many providers don’t, because it doesn’t fit into their philosophy or agenda, the way they see life and you. At CC, we LOVE this question. It allows us to get to the truth. It’s the reality check. Start doing this more in your life, and watch things change on their own, just because you start to think differently.
CC is truly different. Not just to BE different, but because we ask different questions and end up with truly different answers: Bigger, better, different answers that we all need to live better. You see, we are one of the few chiropractic offices in the world to offer pure, specific chiropractic: nothing more, nothing less, nothing else. And you may not even know how special that is, yet. But it’s coming: A better version of you, inside and out. At CC, we don’t just offer chiropractic adjustments. That’s just an effect. Eating well is just an effect, so is exercise or anything else we do to try to improve our lives. Why do anything, (there’s that question again) unless we know why? Why should you and all your friends and family be seeing a chiropractor when many of them don’t have spinal pain, or any pain at all for that matter? But I’m getting ahead of myself. Before we can get there, we need to step back….way back. Back to the beginning, back to how you began, back to you. Are you ready? Here we go!
